While you can always draw formulas freehand on Ziteboard, the Formula Editor offers a more professional and efficient solution. This tool allows you to input and display clean, structured equations, making it perfect for teaching or creating clear presentations.
The symbols and design of the Formula Editor were carefully crafted to match the needs of topics like algebra, geometry, and calculus, ensuring versatility for the most commonly taught areas in mathematics.

Math Formula Editor
After ordering the Math Tools and receiving the activation email, a new f(x) icon will appear in the toolbar. If you don’t see it immediately, refresh or reload the page. The f(x) icon gives you access to both Math Tools; simply select Formula Editor to get started.
Once you've selected the Formula Editor, a panel will appear with two input options: you can either enter LaTeX commands directly for precise and customizable formulas, or use the virtual keyboard to quickly create formulas with a wide range of mathematical symbols in a user-friendly interface. If there is already a formula on the canvas, you can easily re-edit it by selecting the formula and clicking the EDIT button.
While the LaTeX input provides flexibility, please note that only basic LaTeX commands are supported.
The virtual keyboard offers four intuitive layers to help you build formulas:
Functions and Calculus: Includes essential functions, integrals, derivatives, and more.
Algebra and Vectors: Access symbols for algebraic operations, matrix entries, and vector notations.
Latin Alphabet: For including standard text and variables in your formulas.
Greek Alphabet: Easily access all Greek letters, including both uppercase and lowercase variants.

How to Order the Math Tools
The Math Tools package is available exclusively to Pro users of Ziteboard. This package includes the Formula Editor and the Graph Plotter. To unlock the Math Tools suite permanently, there is a one-time fee of $40.
