  • profile/avatar name (arbitrary, optional, editable)
  • profile/avatar icon (arbitrary, optional)

Paid users

We use a third-party service to manage subscriptions and payments: Paypal. We access billing information through Paypal, but we don't collect, manage or store them outside Paypal.

How is collected data used?

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade personally identifiable information with third parties. We only use collected user data internally to maintain the service, to make statistics and to track possible errors. We don’t use collected data for commercial purposes.

  • type of browser: we use it for statistics and debugging
  • session ID: required by the technology to maintain connection
  • email: we use it to identify your account; we use it for customer support; the application uses it when you invite people to collaborate by email
  • addresses. we don’t use your email address for any other purposes than the ones mentioned before.

  • How is collected data stored?

    We are committed to ensuring that your information is protected using both server authentication and data encryption, so your data is safe and secure. To ensure encryption of communication we only allow the industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology between your device and our servers. We use the same communication within our Service. We use industry standard encryption methods to protect data stored.

    Data retention and deletion of data

    All data is retained only for the purposes of providing the service. We cannot and we don't delete any data from archived and compressed and encrypted log files. Only account holders and their identified legal representatives (for users under the age of 13 – parents and legal guardians) can request deletion of their data by direct messages sent from the email address connected to their accounts.

    Ziteboard uses cookies to offer all users and guests a comprehensive range of functionality, simplify their website and app use, and provide them with the best experience and service possible.

    The video and audio stream of the chat module is transferred directly, and not through our servers.

    Third-party sign-in process

    Our Site offers you the functionality of using your social media credentials to use sign-in to enter our Site, and in that manner, we access and store certain basic profile information from you as you log on. The third-party, social media providers we offer are: Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Slack sign-in API. The information we collect and store is: your first and last name, unique identifier, e-mail address and profile picture. We can't access and do not offer any other functionalities or information of these social media providers.

    Third-party payment process

    We use a third party payment processor to process payments made to us: PayPal Holdings Inc. In connection with the processing of such payments, we do not retain any personally identifiable information or any financial information such as credit card numbers. Rather, all such information is provided directly to our third party processor, whose use of your personal information is governed by their privacy policy.
